How to Attach a Type R Lip

The Type R is a category of car from the Honda automobile company, this type of category consists of models that is blessed with higher performance power and better handling options. Instructions

1. Place the vehicle on a surface where there is proper lighting to see clearly under the car. The surface should be flat.

2. Lift up the front end of the car with a hydraulic jack. Use other accessories to support the jack just to be safe and avoid any type of injuries.

3. Many cars are factory delivered with lip spoilers but if you car doesn’t have any skip this step. To remove the factory lip spoiler you will have to unbolt few screws that is attached to the bumper of the car. Keep it somewhere else for future use.

4. Taking the Type R spoiler, lift it up and position it towards the bumper of the car matching the screw holes. If the holes do not match then drill them carefully. Use small drilling machine to execute this process because if you ever drill a large whole this cannot be changed. To avoid further problems you can contact an expert to help you in this job. After drilling attach the spoiler in the correct place to finish the work.

5. Adjust the spoiler with the bumper if the required position is not achieved. Always handle the spoiler properly otherwise giving much pressure it may break.

6. Avoid any kind of damages while drilling the spoiler, wear gloves to secure your hands and protect them from getting harmed in any way. Also try to work with a friend or a relative while you are under the car. Be attentive and concentrate while working so that if anything goes wrong accidently you can get out of it quickly. This is why using safety stand against hydraulic jack is a good thing to do as it will keep you in control of the situation and also enables to do the work properly without any tension.
