Fiberglass vs. Steel

Both of them are equal but in some regards they may differ in capabilities. The decision of using fiberglass or steel is needed for the vehicle to achieve a newer look.

Steel

Steel is a hard and strong material that costs much but ensures that it cannot be damaged under a lot of pressure. Moreover you will be able to get the vintage type look that all crave for in regards of vehicle. There are lack of steel bodies now in the market and one of the biggest lacks of steel is that whenever it gets damaged you will need to work on the whole body kit. Rusting is also a problem face with steel body kits and it also makes the car quite heavy as well as lowers its performance standards.

Steel and fiberglass both are quite nice kits to be using for body kit purposes but and a latest hybrid kit is being used that has mixture of both materials. But Fiberglass is more cost effective and easy to use rather than steel kits. If one is not able to find any kind of steel kit for a certain part of the car, then one can easily use the magnificent fiberglass material which will not only help in upgrading car performance but also keep the car lightweight.
